MBH - Investing In Your Future
In
our persistent journey to continually augment the exceptional service we
deliver to our local Realtor communities, MBH offers over 60 continuing and
post licensing education courses approved by the Virginia Department of
Professional and Occupational Regulation. These courses are available to the
entire Realtor population so that the real estate community, as a whole, is
better informed. MBH is happy to provide a network for Realtors to get the
answers they need to conduct their business. These courses are taught by our
experienced DPOR-approved instructors – the same professional,
knowledgeable, and customer service-oriented Settlement Agents who conduct
closings in each of our 17 locations. Most of our instructors are attorneys who
have assisted in the preparation of the course materials, and the courses are
designed to guide Realtors smoothly over legislative and situational hurdles
that may arise throughout the settlement process.

L.C. is proud to offer a variety of approved courses that allow agents to meet
their continuing education criteria. MBH has been given a number of legal
opinions that indicate providing an agent with a free CE class that can satisfy
his/her continuing education requirement would defray an expense that the sales
agent otherwise would have to incur, thus creating a potential RESPA violation.
After much review, discussion and advice from Counsel, MBH has determined we
would be putting agents at risk if we continue to offer free CE classes;
effectively immediately, there will be a $10 charge for each course.
In
order to streamline the process, we are pleased to offer pre-registration and
payment through our website. Once you have registered, please print the receipt
and bring it with you to the class.
Increased knowledge and awareness
of current legislation and complex industry issues are top priorities for MBH,
and we welcome the opportunity to speak at sales meetings and other venues
